Dear Doctor,

Important information
concerning the handling of Diabact UBT kits in UK

Analytical laboratory

Currently all Diabact UBT kits delivered in UK have been analyzed by the Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI).

This arrangement will end on the 30th April 2013.

After the 1st May, Analysis Services International Ltd (ASI), situated in London, will perform the patient samples analysis in UK.

Address labels

Diabact UBT kits currently on the market have been delivered with a patient test form and a freepost address label for GRI.

As of the 29th April 2013, all patient samples should be sent to ASI, using the following address:

Analytical Services International Ltd
St George’s – University of London
Cranmer Terrace
London
SW17 0RE

Kibion will secure that patient samples that arrive to GRI after the 1st May will, on a daily basis, be picked-up and re-directed to ASI.

This arrangement will of course prolong the time for the test results to be communicated back to the Doctors Surgeries. If you wish to minimize the delay, send the patient samples directly to ASI. Please note that all Diabact UBT kits delivered from the TPS warehouse after the 29th April will have a new patient test form and address label, stating the address to ASI.

Test results

Test results on samples already sent to GRI will be sent out to Doctors surgeries by normal postal services. Please note that test results cannot be received through on-line services.

Test results from ASI will initially only be sent out to Doctors surgeries by normal postal services. In the very near future test results will be retrievable through an updated and secure on-line report service.

General information

A new distributor for Diabact UBT in UK will be appointed during May 2013. More information will follow.

Information regarding Diabact UBT analysis, laboratory patient sample analysis and on line reporting services will be communicated via Kibion web site (kibion.com) and direct communication to customers.
